The D-HYDROFLEX project will promote research excellence in digital technology for hydropower, ultimately leading to more efficient, sustainable, and competitive hydropower plants. The project aims to develop a toolkit that will digitally upgrade existing hydroelectric power plants using sensors, digital twins, AI algorithms, hybridisation modelling (power-to-hydrogen), cloud-edge computing, and image processing.
